Powder Mountain is one of the first, if not the only resort in the US, offering a snowkite pass and an area exclusively for snowkiting.  The area between the Hidden Lake parking lot and the tower near the Sunrise lift has ideal conditions for snowkiting – sloping terrain without obstacles and frequent winds.  The $20 snowkite pass provides access to this area via the Sunrise lift.
